Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 June 2026

These terms govern your use of FrameCompose — the web application at www.framecompose.com and the FrameCompose Recorder Click Bridge browser extension (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

The service

FrameCompose is a browser-based video editor: you can record your screen, import media, edit on a timeline, apply effects and captions, generate AI voiceovers, and export finished videos. Features may change as the product evolves.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

Your content

  • You own it. You keep all rights to the videos, audio, images, and other content you upload or create.
  • You give us permission to process it. So we can run the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, transcode, and display your content — only to provide the features you use, never for advertising, and never to sell it.
  • You are responsible for it. Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not use the Service to infringe copyright, record people unlawfully, or create content that is illegal, harassing, or deceptive.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the Service: no attempts to breach security, scrape other users' data, resell access, overload our infrastructure, or use the Service to develop a competing dataset. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions, credits, and refunds

Paid plans and AI credits are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started or credits have been consumed.

AI features

AI-generated output (voiceovers, edits, suggestions) is produced by machine-learning models and may be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before publishing it.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You can stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
