What Gemini Omni Flash is best at

Google built Gemini Omni Flash to make video and sound together, and its newest version renders clips of up to 15 seconds with stronger consistency from shot to shot. Every clip comes back with its own soundtrack: ambience, effects, music or dialogue, steered by what you write.

It is quick and lively, which suits hooks, b-roll and short story beats for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, and it makes upright 9:16 or wide 16:9 clips to match your project.

Make a Gemini Omni clip from a few words

Open Video Studio and type your idea. Under the box, set Make to Video clip, pick 5s, 10s or 15s, and press Make clip.

The AI Editor plans the shot and shows a card with its price. Choose Gemini Omni Flash (newest, with sound) in the Model list, then check Length and Quality; Sound shows Always on, because Gemini Omni makes it in every clip.

Press Make clip on the card to spend the clip's credits, and the finished clip lands on your timeline. Planning it uses one AI Editor message (2 credits on a credit account), and one request spends at most 600 credits.

A hook with its own sound

Typed into Video Studio with Video clip picked.

A barista slams a portafilter, steam bursts from the machine, and the camera snaps in on the first drop of coffee. Sound: the hiss of steam and a café crowd.

A quiet b-roll moment

Say which sounds you want, and which you do not.

Slow drone shot over a misty pine forest at sunrise. Sound: soft wind and birdsong, no music, no voices.

Animate a picture with Gemini Omni

Import a picture into the editor and press Animate on it in the Media Bin. In the Animate Image dialog, pick Gemini Omni Flash under Animation Provider; every model shows its price beside it.

Describe the motion and the sound in Animation Prompt and press Start Animation. The clip runs as long as the picture sits on your timeline, from 5 up to 15 seconds. Give it a second picture as the end frame and it moves from one to the other, for a clip of up to 10 seconds.

Prompt tips for Gemini Omni Flash

Write one moment you could film in one go, then one line for the sound. Name what you want to hear and what you do not, such as "no music" or "no dialogue", because the model makes a soundtrack every time.

Name the camera move in plain words, such as "slow push-in" or "handheld follow". Under a voiceover, ask for quiet ambience so your narration leads.

The right model for every shot

For a photo with a lifelike face, real or AI-made, pick Kling 3.0. Google limits photos of recognizable people on Gemini Omni, so Image to Video offers Kling v3 with one tap and the AI Editor suggests it too. If a clip is ever turned down, your credits come back automatically.

For the longest single clip with sound, pick Seedance 2.5, at up to 30 seconds.

Finish the video in the same editor

Your Gemini Omni clip is a normal clip on a full timeline. Trim it, turn its sound down under a voiceover, add captions, music, effects and transitions, and export from your browser. Timeline editing and browser exports are free.
